In this project, a mechanized system for transporting ore from the mining site to the loading platform is designed and is being implemented. The system consists of heavy-duty conveyors, overhead cranes, automated carriages and a PLC-based central control. The main objective of the project is to reduce downtime in the mining process and increase the safety of transportation operations in the mining environment. Upon completion of the project, it is expected that the transportation capacity will increase by 30% and losses due to human error will be minimized.
